Clovis XC Club, representing Buchanan High in California, took third with 116 points in the girls championship race at Nike Cross Nationals at Glendoveer Golf Course in Oregon. Grace Hutchison placed 29th by covering the 5-kilometer layout in 17:51.6, sophomore Elle Lomeli was 44th in 18:06.3, sophomore Sierra Cornett took 54th in 18:11.7, senior Sydney Sundgren earned 66th in 18:21.9, freshman Kynzlee Buckley placed 76th in 18:32.4, freshman Tayler Torosian grabbed 98th in 18:48.3 and junior Avery Hutchison finished 144th in 19:25.5 for Clovis, which produced its best finish in program history.
