Buchanan High swept the top six spots in the girls varsity race at the Tri-River Athletic Conference Championships to secure a ninth consecutive team title and 25th in program history with 15 points at Woodward Park in Fresno, Calif. Stefania Sesock, a senior, prevailed by covering the 5-kilometer layout in 17:56.89, Sierra Cornett secured second in 18:06.12, Kynzlee Buckley took third in 18:09.11, Avery Hutchison finished fourth in 18:29.46, Molly Sundgren placed fifth in 18:31.80 and Tayler Torosian achieved sixth in 18:32.93 for the Bears, who also had Lily Olsen earn ninth in 18:54.54 in her varsity conference finals debut.
